Four suspected Naxalite arrested, police got big success

Bijapur. On Monday, security forces arrested four suspected Naxalites in Naxal-affected Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh and recovered explosives from them. Police officials gave this information. Police officials said that security forces have arrested four suspected Naxalite Sudru Madvi, Ramu Bedja, Budhram Tati and Sukhram Kalmu near Kattur village under Kutru police station area of the district. He said that as part of the anti-Maoist operation in the district, today security forces were sent from Kutru police station towards Ranibodli, Kattur, Mukaram and Tadmer villages.

Officials said that when the team reached near Kattur village, some suspicious people started running away from there. Later the security forces laid siege and arrested four people. Police officials said that when the security forces searched them, a tiffin bomb, cardex wire, safety fuse and other items were recovered from them. He said that the suspected Naxalites told during interrogation that they were trying to plant landmines in the footpath to harm the police team. Police officials said that the operation against Naxalites is going on in the area.
