Gangadhar, the Sarpanch of Kubheer Mandal, along with five other villagers, left on Monday morning to visit a villager who was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Hyderabad. They all returned from there at night. Within a few minutes, their car met with an accident while reaching Bhainsa. A container lorry coming from the opposite direction hit it. In this accident, the driver of the Ertiga vehicle, Bappa Vikas (24), from Kubheer Mandal Center, and Bhojaram Patel (42), Kodimela Pedda Rajanna (62), and Boidi Babanna (65), who were travelling in it, died on the spot. Gangadhar, the village Sarpanch, who was sitting in the middle seat, was seriously injured. Shinde Anand Rao and Gundolla Laxman (Chinnu) escaped with minor injuries.

Sarpanch Gangadhar, who was seriously injured and unconscious, was taken to a private hospital in Bhainsa. Since his condition was critical, he was shifted to Nizamabad Hospital for better treatment. After receiving information about the accident, Bhainsa ASP Rajesh Meena and CI Saikumar reached the spot and pulled out the bodies trapped in the vehicle with the help of locals. However, the severed head of Boidi Babanna from the body indicates the severity of the accident. The bodies were taken to Bhainsa Area Hospital in a trolley auto for post-mortem.
