Vijayapura: Four people died in a road accident in Arjungi village of Karnataka’s Vijayapura district on Saturday morning. The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Arjun Kushal Singh Rajput, 52-year-old Ravinath Pattar, 40-year-old Pushpa Ravinath Pattar and 12-year-old Meghraj Rajput. According to the police, this tragic accident occurred due to a direct collision between a truck and a bus. All the deceased were going from Vijaypura city towards Jamkhandi city. The truck was bringing cement from Jamkhandi to Vijaypura. At present, efforts are being made to find out the reasons behind the accident. This accident happened near Babaleshwar police station. Vijaypura SP Rishikesh Sonawane Bhagwan reached the spot, where he saw that the car was in a mangled condition.
