Raipur. In Tilda-Nevara, RPF handed over a bag filled with goods worth Rs 2.5 lakh to the passenger. On April 3, a passenger had informed Rail Madad that he had forgotten his bag in train number 12856 Intercity Express. The information was given to RPF Tilda at 1:12 pm.
Without wasting any time, Sub Inspector DK Shastri and Constable RK Panchal attended the Intercity Express at 1:19 pm. He asked the passenger asking for help on his mobile phone about the condition of his bag. After this, he was found and taken out from the train.
2 gold earrings weighing one tola, one gold mangalsutra weighing 3 tola and Rs 2300 in cash were found from the bag. It was kept safe in Tilda post. The price of jewelery is around Rs 2.5 lakh. After this, a person came at 3 o’clock and introduced himself as Praveen Kumar Pancheshwar (35). He is a resident of Basant Vihar of Gudhiyari police station area of Raipur. Praveen told that on April 3, he was traveling with his wife in Intercity Express from Gondia to Raipur. In Raipur, he left his bag in the train in a hurry. RPF Tilda returned the luggage safely to the passenger after matching and checking the luggage. The passenger had lost hope of finding his luggage. In such a situation, after receiving his luggage, he appreciated the RPF and thanked them.
