Foreign liquor found in car, accused arrested

Udaipur: Pindwara police located in Four Lane has recovered foreign liquor from a car during the blockade near Danga Pulia Gharat and arrested the accused. Pindwara police located on Udaipur-Palanpur four lane has seized German made liquor being carried illegally in a Honda City car during the blockade near Danga Pulia Gharat. The police have also arrested a youth.

According to the information, ASI Shivpal Singh of Pindwara police station got information that someone was going from Udaipur towards Swaroopganj by filling German made illegal liquor in Honda City Kar. As soon as the information was received, the police reached near Danga Pulia and during the blockade, the Honda City car was stopped by the police. When the driver was asked for his name and address, he started getting nervous the moment he saw the police. Frightened, he told the police that Mangilal’s father’s name is Sankala Ram Dewasi, who is a resident of Jeevada Nana in Pali district.

When the police inquired about the items kept in the car, he could not give any satisfactory answer. On this the police searched the car. Police found two bottles of German-made liquor in white plastic containers in the rear trunk of the car. When the young man asked for documents for transportation of liquor, he did not get any documents. Police arrested the driver and brought him along with the car to Pindwara police station.
