Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel announced to give Rs 10 lakh for the statue of martyr Ramadhin Gond

Raipur. State Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Dayaldas Baghel today participated in the martyrdom day program of freedom fighter martyr Veer Ramadhin Gond at the district headquarters Rajnandgaon. The program was organized under the aegis of Tribal Gond Mahasabha and All India Development Council.

Paying humble tribute to martyr Veer Ramadhin Gond, the Food Minister said that martyr Ramadhin Gond fought against injustice, worked for dedication and sacrifice towards the motherland. His contribution will always be remembered.

It is noteworthy that years ago a road in Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation area has been named after Martyr Ramadhin. He said that the tribal society is a big organized society and is doing better work in the field of social service. He congratulated and congratulated the society officials for organizing the program.

On the demand of the society, Baghel announced Rs 10 lakh for the construction of the statue of martyr Veer Ramadhin. On this occasion, District President Neelkanth Gadhe and a large number of Gond community officials were present. It is noteworthy that Martyr Ramadhin Gond was born on 2 July 1920 in village Badra Tola of Khujji area of Rajnandgaon district.

Martyr Veer Ramadhin continuously participated in the Jungle Satyagraha movement. He was martyred on 21 January 1939. A statue and cultural building have been constructed in his memory in village Badra Tola.
