Dantewada. To check the quality of food items, milk samples of the firm Sharma Ji Dairy Farm located in Sanjay Nagar Dantewada were taken on Friday to check the standard levels. The sample of the said food item was sent to the Food Analyst State Food Testing Laboratory office, Raipur for testing. Also imposed a fine of Rs 30 thousand. It should be noted that under the Food Safety and Standards Packaging and Labeling Regulations 2011 of the Food Safety and Standards Act-2006, it is mandatory to give the packing date, lot, code, batch on the label, but in the food items taken, the packing date and batch number of the sample should not be mentioned. Ankit was not found. Which is punishable under Section 52 of the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006.
Under this case, the attached documents and written reply and arguments were also inspected. This made it clear that sufficient evidence was not provided by the accused regarding the “loose milk” in question being found to be sub-standard. Therefore, considering the establishment operator as an accused and keeping in view the first offense with a warning for the future under Section 26(1). Under Section 26(2)(11), 27(1) read with Section 51 Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, he was punished with a fine of Rs 30,000 (Thirty thousand rupees only). In this regard, Food Safety Officer Susmit Dewangan said that the department advised all the sweet sellers, manufacturers and shopkeepers selling other food items to sell only fresh and pure food sweets and not to sell contaminated and stale sweets. Strict action will be taken against violation of the Food Standards Act.
