Flying training started in Air NCC in Jashpur

Raipur. Flying training of Air NCC is currently going on at Agadih Airport in Jashpur. NCC cadets are being given all the basic information from flying a small airplane and landing on the runway, from the cockpit of the aircraft to every part and the control of the aircraft. According to Wing Commander VK Sahu, currently 35 trainee cadets are participating in this training being conducted from the 7th of this month.

By the end of this month, the youth of the state are learning to fly in the open sky of Jashpur under the banner of 3 CG Air Squadron Raipur. NCC Senior Division cadets, including both boys and girls, flew on the Agadih airstrip of Jashpur through a 2-seater micro light aircraft by Air NCC.

Wing Commander VK Sahu said that this training is very effective for the youth who choose it as a career in the field of Air Force and Aviation. He told that he himself is a resident of Lakhauli in Basna area and he too first flew as an NCC cadet which later proves to be helpful for the youth going to Air Force or Aviation field for their career by getting admission in flying school. He told that due to limited flying opportunities at Raipur’s Mana Airport, this training has been shifted to Jashpur. He thanked the Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, State Education Secretary and Collector Jashpur Rohit Vyas for this entire training campaign, due to whose efforts, ambulance and fire fighting squad along with medical staff have been present at Jashpur airstrip, due to which all the work of accommodation, food and training of the entire team and cadets is going on smoothly.
