Janjgir: A fire broke out in a shop of Jaipuri sofa, quilt and mattress next to the Post Office Pamgarh. The shop operator said that the loss in the incident is said to be around 5 lakhs including 20,000 rupees in cash.
A fire broke out in a shop of Jaipuri sofa, quilt and mattress next to the post office in Pamgarh due to some reasons. People working on the spot and those present nearby saw fire coming out from the shutter of the shop. The employees present in the shop tried to control the fire but were unsuccessful, after which the shop operator informed the team of Pamgarh police station fire department about the matter.
On receiving the information, Pamgarh police and fire brigade reached the spot and efforts are being made to extinguish the fire. Then the fire was controlled. The shop owner said that there was a loss of about 5 lakhs including 20,000 rupees in cash in the incident. Mohammad Vakil, son of Mohammad Zakir, a resident of Darbhanga, used to live in Pamgarh for years and used to make and sell quilts and mattresses with his family. After this incident, he has suffered a huge financial loss. The cause of the fire is still unknown, which could also be due to a short circuit.
