Fire Breaks Out In Southwest Delhi Building 9 Died 3 Injured At Palam Incident

New Delhi: 9 people died in a fire accident in Delhi’s Palem. Three others were injured. The fire broke out at 7 am in a 4-storey building in Ram Chowk Market. It seems that many people were sleeping at that time. The building had a butcher shop and a cosmetics showroom in the basement and ground floor. However, the owners of the house live in the top two floors of the building. Those who died in the fire accident were Pravesh, Kamal, Ashu, Lado, Himanshi, Deepika and three minor girls. Along with Anil and Sachin, another two-year-old girl was injured. They are currently undergoing treatment.
The Palam police are investigating the case. The police along with Delhi Fire Service personnel have launched a rescue operation. The building owner has been identified as Rajendra Kashyap. The family members live on the second and third floors of the building. 20 fire tenders, 11 CATS ambulances, BSES, Air Force Police and NDRF teams participated in the rescue operation. A forensic team has reached the accident site. The local police are investigating the incident.
