Final voter list released for 20th Bijni Assembly Constituency

BIJNI: The final voter list for the 20th Bijni assembly constituency as well as the entire state was unveiled on Thursday. The Election Commission of India issued clear instructions for the release of this important document shedding light on the electoral scenario.

As per the comprehensive voter list for Bijni, the total number of registered voters is 1,77,607. The figures reflect an interesting gender balance, with 88,928 male voters and 88,679 female voters, emphasizing the inclusive participation of voters.

Bijni constituency is getting ready with a network of 220 polling stations to facilitate smooth and accessible voting process. This strategic arrangement aims to accommodate the diverse needs of voters and ensure a seamless electoral experience for the citizens of Bijni.

However, amidst the election preparations, a remarkable figure has come to light. The list shows the presence of 130 D voters in Bijni constituency. This category of voters marked as ‘D’ often requires special attention and scrutiny for various reasons. Electoral officials are expected to address and manage these matters efficiently to maintain the integrity of the democratic process.

An important meeting was organized in the meeting room of Bijni Sub-Collector’s office on Thursday. The meeting saw the presence of key officials including Bijni Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abhishek Jain, Bijni Sub-Divisional Election Officer Tanmay Ghosh and Bijni Sub-Divisional Assistant Commissioner Dipankar Bora. Additionally, representatives of various political parties were also present, indicating a collaborative effort towards ensuring a fair and transparent election process.
