The trailer begins with Cailee, who plays Ryan Carradine in the film, asking, “Are you sure you want to do this?” A few seconds later, we see a crew heading to an abandoned space station called Romulus, with the goal of “stealing highly regulated equipment.” As they prepare to enter, the eerie corridors of Romulus are revealed, creating an eerie tone. An interesting moment is a cut to a computer interface showing MU/TH/UR 9000 readings. “This place amazes me,” a crew member says as shadow shots of Romulus’ empty hallways appear. The ship has become a nesting site for the biomechanical creatures of the Alien universe, the Xenomorphs, and their pregnant spider-like eggs, called facehuggers.
