The cast includes actors Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fern and Allen Wu. Directed by Fede Alvarez, Alien: Romulus is the seventh installment of the Alien action-thriller franchise. Alien: Romulus the Younger follows a group of space colonists who encounter the most terrifying life form in space while cleaning up an abandoned space station. The trailer begins with Cailee, who plays Ryan Carradine in the film, asking, “Are you sure you want to do this?” A few seconds later, we see a crew heading to an abandoned space station called Romulus, with the goal of “stealing highly regulated equipment.” As they prepare to enter, the eerie corridors of Romulus are revealed, creating an eerie tone. An interesting moment is a cut to a computer interface showing MU/TH/UR 9000 readings. “This place amazes me,” a crew member says as shadow shots of Romulus’ empty hallways appear. The ship has become a nesting site for the biomechanical creatures of the Alien universe, the Xenomorphs, and their pregnant spider-like eggs, called facehuggers.

When the crew splits up to explore the abandoned ship, they encounter these full-sized, flying facehuggers. One of the most intense scenes in the trailer shows a Xenomorph entering the body of Aileen Wu’s character, Navarro, showcasing the film’s blend of horror and high-octane thriller. The team soon prepares to take up arms to fight off the Xenomorphs and save their lives.
