Gurugram: A shocking case has come to light in Gurugram. A fight broke out between children while playing in a housing society located in DLF Phase 3 area. After which a boy went home and informed his father about the fight. The angry father took out his gun without thinking and pointed it at the head of the 12-year-old child. The police have arrested a 35-year-old liquor businessman for pointing a revolver at the child.
Someone made a video of the incident and posted it on social media which is now going viral. The police have seized the licensed revolver of businessman Prateek Sachdeva. The accused was later released on bail. According to the police, the incident took place at around 5.30 pm on Tuesday evening in the park of Lagoon Apartment, where some children were playing football.
While playing, there was a fight between the children and one of them returned home and told his father about the fight. Police said the angry businessman took out his revolver, went to the park and pointed it at a 12-year-old boy. In the video, Sachdeva’s wife is also seen coming to the park and asking her husband to leave. Police said that after the incident, the frightened boy was sent to a relative’s house.
An FIR was registered against Sachdeva under sections of the BNS and Arms Act at the DLF Phase 3 police station on the complaint of the boy’s father. The police officer said, “We have arrested the accused liquor businessman and seized his licensed revolver. He was released on bail after joining the investigation. The case is currently under investigation.”
