Femina Miss India 2024 unites to uplift tribal women

Mumbai: A powerful new chapter begins with Femina Miss India 2024, where beauty and purpose come together to create lasting change. Through an inspiring partnership with Ketto, India’s leading crowdfunding platform for social causes, this year’s state winners have come together to empower tribal women. The initiative embodies Beauty with a Purpose, turning ideals into real-world impact by transforming entire communities.

At the core of this movement is Sanmat, an NGO that has been dedicated to the upliftment of tribal women for over a decade. Their efforts have been enormous, providing free medical services worth Rs 31 lakh and building six hospitals across five states. In some of the most remote areas of India, Sanmat ensures that pregnant women have access to essential, life-saving healthcare, positively impacting nearly 36,000 people every month. Their focus on supporting marginalised women is a beacon of hope.

But healthcare is just one aspect of Sanmat’s work. They are agents of empowerment, providing livelihood skills training to over 1.5 lakh women and girls, making them the backbone of their families. With free nursing and ITI colleges in Jharkhand and Bihar, Sanmat opens doors to education for girls from underprivileged backgrounds, currently covering the tuition fees of over 200 girl students.
The impact doesn’t stop there. Over 100 widows are provided with monthly financial assistance, helping them restore their dignity and rebuild their lives. A dedicated team of 1,200 social workers works across six states, embedding Sanmat in local communities and ensuring that help reaches those who need it most. The state winners of Femina Miss India 2024 are now reaching out to you, inviting you to be a part of this transformative mission. Together, we can bring education, healthcare and hope to those who need it most. Meaningful Change
