Nagpur: A case that is tearing apart the relationship between father and son has come to light in Maharashtra. Here a father killed his son over a very trivial matter. It is reported that both were drunk at the time of the incident. At present, the police has arrested the accused. A man allegedly killed his son following an argument over loud talking on the phone in a village in the state’s Nagpur district. Police gave this information on Wednesday. The incident took place on Monday in Pipra village, about 30 km from Nagpur city, and the youth died during treatment at the hospital the next day, an official said. He told that after the incident the accused Ramrao Kakade was arrested. An officer of Bela police station said, ‘When Kakade’s son Suraj raised objection about him talking loudly on the phone, an argument broke out between the two, after which Kakade attacked Suraj with a steel rod. Suraj was admitted to the hospital, where he died on Tuesday. According to the police, both father and son were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. He said that a case was registered against Kakade under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and he was arrested.
