Fatah chief expresses hope for latest round of ceasefire talks
Fatah: Jibril Rajoub, secretary general of Fatah’s central committee, said the Palestinian group hopes “the talks in Doha will mark the first step towards a real end to the war on Gaza and the elimination of threats to regional stability”. Rajoub was summoned for questioning by Israeli security forces and was to surrender at the Ofer military base. However, he announced he would not submit to questioning and intends to attend an event in Egypt today. It is unclear whether Fatah is directly participating in the ceasefire talks.
