Fake contractor caught, had withdrawn so many crores of rupees 4 lakhs

Bhadrak: In a shocking incident, a fraud contractor in Odisha has allegedly submitted false documents and siphoned off Rs. 5 lakh. The incident has been reported from Municipal Ward No. 22 of Bhadrak district in Odisha. This incident took place during the renovation of Feroz Saha Baba’s shrine in Ward No. 22 of Bhadrak municipality.

Reliable reports say that, a young man named Sharat Sethi of this village made fake placards and fake papers and gave them to the PIO in charge of Bhadrak block office. After that he took the money. This incident of the fraud contractor in Odisha‘s Bhadrak has now become a topic of discussion.

Reports say that, following the demands of the local people, orders were issued to renew this market. Later, on the advice of PIO, the construction work of the market was completed by the committee and the bill was submitted to the block office. He said that we have already paid the money in this regard.

However, he could not give any accurate information about who he gave the money to. Bhadrak BDO is now in a dilemma, said reliable reports in this regard. On the other hand, the Old Bazar Police has started investigation after filing a fraud case after the workers of the committee complained in this regard. The police have informed that the accused youth is now been detained and is being questioned.
