Surajpur. The police has disclosed the case of death of a newly married woman in the district. The murderer of the newly married woman is none other than her husband. The accused husband was having an affair with another woman, due to which there was discord between the husband and wife. One day the dispute between the two escalated and he murdered her by smothering her face with a scarf. This case is of Karondamuda village of Jhilmili police station.
According to the information, Mujubil, a resident of Karondamuda, calls his in-laws that his daughter’s health has worsened. I am taking him to the hospital. After some time, he calls again and says that she has had a heart attack. When the girl’s family reaches, they see that the girl’s entire body has become cold and she has died. Along with this, marks were also seen on the neck of the deceased. After which the family members went to Jhilmili police station and informed about it. After which the police reached the spot and conducted the Panchnama in front of the Tehsildar and sent the body for post-mortem.
In this case, the family members of the deceased accused the in-laws of killing their daughter and demanded her arrest. The family members of the deceased were adamant on their demand that they would not bury the body until an arrest was made. After which Jhilmili police catches the husband of the dead newlywed and interrogates him. During interrogation, the husband confessed to the crime and said that he had committed the murder by suffocating his face with a scarf. The accused husband was having an affair with someone and there was a rift between the two regarding this. When the dispute between the two escalated, the husband killed her with a dupatta at night. In this case, the police has arrested the accused husband Mujibul Rahman and sent him to jail.
