During this, the soldiers have achieved great success by recovering the secret dump of the Naxalites. The security forces have recovered country-made rifles, explosives and a large amount of iron material hidden by the Naxalites.
According to the information, on August 23, the soldiers got information about the presence of Naxalites. After this, a joint party of 203 Cobra Corps, 241 Bastar Battalion CRPF and District Force left for the anti-Naxal operation towards village Botelanka, Erapalli, Koimenta hill, Dareli and surrounding areas. During the operation, country-made weapons and other Naxal material dumped by the Naxalites in Koimenta hill were recovered.
During the recovery, the soldiers have found a large amount of weapons and explosive material from the Naxalite dump. This includes country-made rifles, BGL launcher and its barrel, broken propeller of UAV Netra, electric holder welding, bench vice and steel pipe. Apart from this, 7 iron rods, 45 iron base plates weighing about 2 kg, 47 pole anglers of 8 kg and about 480 heavy iron clamps were recovered. 35 ground supporters, dozens of clamps of 1 kg, 18 and 12 inches, a T-type clamp, black uniform, ammunition pouch and a broken inverter battery were also found. About 20 meters of electric wire and an electrical extension board were also seized from the spot.
