Bilaspur. A serious road accident took place a while back in Hirri police station area of Bilaspur. In this accident, the excise officer sitting in a vehicle written by Chhattisgarh government died. The name of the deceased is being told as Vishnu Sahu. Till a few days back, Assistant DEO is said to be posted at Welcome Distillery in Bilaspur. According to the information, the incident is of Hirri police station area.
Vishnu Sahu, brother of Deputy Collector Nidhi Sahu posted in Raipur, was posted in Bilaspur as Assistant DEO two months back. Was going somewhere with wife today. During this, while trying to save a vehicle rider coming from the front in Hirri NH, his car became unbalanced and overturned after colliding with a pole. The accident was so tremendous that the car was blown away in the incident. At the same time, the assistant DEO died on the spot in the accident.
Vishnu Sahu’s wife has been admitted to Sargaon Hospital in critical condition. At present, after getting information about the incident, Hirri police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Nidhi is the Deputy Collector of 2014 batch.
