Lucknow: A dismissed police officer tried to make himself believe that he was dead. He killed a beggar. He burnt the body. He left his belongings there. On March 12, the railway police found the burnt body of an unidentified old man at a sheet shed near Hathras Road Halt of the North Eastern Railway. 55-year-old Ramveer Singh, who was dismissed from the police service on criminal charges, noticed his identity card and belongings lying next to it.

Meanwhile, the Railway Police has investigated the incident. Ramveer Singh, a resident of Kishni area of ​​Mainpuri district, has been identified as the perpetrator of the conspiracy. During the investigation, it was found that he had killed a beggar and burnt his body to make him believe that he was dead. He was arrested on April 14.

On the other hand, a police officer said that Ramveer Singh, who was dismissed from the police department, has a criminal record. He said that several cases have been registered against him in districts like Firozabad, Aligarh, Moradabad, Hardoi, Mainpuri, and Badaun on serious charges like kidnapping, murder, robbery, and cheating.

However, the police officer said that they are investigating why Ramveer Singh tried to make himself believe that he was dead and why he killed the beggar. He said that the accused suffered burn injuries in the latest crime incident. He revealed that they are trying to identify the deceased, a beggar who was dressed as a saint.
