Nalagarh. The administration and the city council have tightened their grip on the encroachers occupying the roads in Nalagarh city. In this series, on Thursday, the goods of street vendors and shopkeepers sitting on the roads encroaching on their goods were removed and the goods of many encroachers were also confiscated. On Thursday, the council removed about six dozen street vendors who were illegally occupying the streets in the city. Tehsildar Nisha Azad Singh and EO Ranveer Singh Verma along with police personnel visited the markets of Nalagarh city and took vigorous action. According to the information, while taking action against the street vendors established illegally in the city, the encroachers were driven away.
The encroachment was removed by the administration and council team which visited the city markets on Thursday. There is a huge crowd in the markets and people go for shopping, while people from rural areas also go to the city for shopping. In such a situation, people passing through the city have to face a lot of problems due to encroachers taking over the roads. EO Nalagarh Ranveer Singh Verma said that as a result of the council’s action, about six dozen street vendors have been removed and the goods of about 13 people have been confiscated. He said that encroachment will not be tolerated under any circumstances and the Council has issued a strict warning to the encroachers not to encroach on the city roads in future, otherwise immediate action will be taken against them. Tehsildar Nalagarh Nisha Azad Singh said that this campaign against the encroachers will continue.
