SpiceJet on Friday said it has paid all employee provident fund dues of Rs 160.07 crore, which were pending for two years.The low-cost airline, which is facing many challenges, recently raised Rs 3,000 crore, after which it has been paying statutory, goods and services tax and other dues.The airline said in a release that employee provident fund dues of Rs 160.07 crore, pending for more than two years, have been paid.
According to the release, since October, SpiceJet has been using its internal cash flows to meet its statutory obligations, including provident fund and tax deduction at source payments.The airline has also resolved various disputes with aircraft lessors and other creditors.
