Anuppur. Anuppur. Both the elephants crossed the drain from Maladand of Marwahi forest on Saturday night and stayed in the forest of Dhangawan beat on Sunday morning. In view of the possibility of roaming in rural areas including Kukurgoda, Kyotar, Patoura, Choi, Dhangawan late in the evening/night, the district administration along with the forest department officials/employees, gram panchayats have made announcements. Through other means, the villagers were advised to be alert on the movement of elephants. Also, the movement is being constantly monitored.

Crossed the Son bridge on Cholna Aamadand road on the banks of Son river near Maladand village. Then settled on the banks of the river in Podi-Chodi of Forest Range Kotma, above the confluence of Son Kewai river. Entered the field by breaking the wire fencing boundary of Sunil Dubey’s field. From the side of Mahuatola of Padour, started bathing in the Son river dam built by Moser Baer along the banks of Son river. Reached room number RF 338,337 of Dhangawan beat on Sunday morning and rested for the whole day.
