Jagdalpur. An elderly man who went to take bath in the river in village Chhindwara of Darbha police station area died due to drowning. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the rescue team of Nagar Sena reached there, where after hours of hard work, the body was taken out and handed over to the police.
Darbha police station in-charge said that Motru Kashyap, 70 years old, resident of Chhindwara, had gone to take bath in the river located some distance from his house, where he went into deep water while bathing, during which the elderly died due to drowning. When the elderly did not reach his home for a long time, the family members reached the river searching for him, where they saw the clothes of the elderly. On information, the Nagar Sena team reached.
