Raipur. Dular Verma (age 55 years), resident of village Kanaki near Kharora, was murdered by unknown persons. His dead body was found in his own shop on Friday morning. After the information, Kharora police station reached the spot. Police have registered the case and started investigation. According to the information, elderly Dular Verma runs a paan shop in Kanaki. He also does farming behind this paan shop. It is being told that after having dinner at 8 pm, he reached his shop and slept after some time. When his son Vikas Verma reached the shop in the morning, he found his father dead.
Son Vikas told that when he reached the shop on Friday morning, he saw that his father had been hit several times on the head and he was dead. After this, she informed this to Sarpanch Pati Tomlal Verma and then to Kharora police station. After the information, Kharora police station in-charge Satyendra Singh Shyam, forensic team and dog squad reached the spot. The body was sent for post-mortem after Panchnama action.
Police station in-charge Satyendra Singh Shyam said that after receiving information about the murder, he reached Kanaki and prima facie it appears that more than two people might have committed the murder. He was hit by a boulder (stone) and a pump (which fills air into the bicycle) due to which he died. At present the investigation is going on, the accused will be caught soon. According to the villagers, Dular Verma was of a slightly aggressive nature. Due to this, he used to have arguments with someone or the other every day. It has two sons, Vikas Verma and Kuleshwar Verma.
