Eight injured in Russian missile attack in Kiev

Kiev: At least eight people were injured in Russian missile attacks in Ukraine’s capital Kiev early Thursday. “Eight people were injured in the attack. Doctors provided them with assistance on the spot,” Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko posted on Telegram, Ukraineform reported. Several explosions occurred in Kyiv. The military administration of Kiev city said air defense was operating in the city and region. Missile fragments also fell on a kindergarten in Sviatoshynsky district and Podilsky district in Kyiv. On the other hand, cars were set on fire in Shevchenkivsky district. A fire was reported at a transformer sub-station and a two-storey non-residential building in Podilsky District due to falling missile debris. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, a fire broke out in a residential building in the Podilsky district. In the Svyatoshinsky district, the wave of explosions broke the windows of two nine-story buildings, but there was no fire.
