ED issued summons to Mahua Moitra

Kolkata. ED has sent a fresh summons to TMC leader Mahua Moitra. This summon has been issued to Mahua to appear in the FEMA case. The Enforcement Directorate has asked the TMC leader to appear before the agency on March 11. Moitra was asked to appear before the agency in Delhi on February 19 to record her statement under FEMA. But then she failed to do so. After this he asked for three weeks’ time. Officials having knowledge of the case said that a case has been registered against Moitra under FEMA. Actually they have information about some foreign transactions, which are being investigated under the law.
