Gurugram: On the day of Shivratri in Cyber City Gurugram, a family found it difficult to eat buckwheat flour. The condition of the entire family suddenly worsened after eating buckwheat flour. People suddenly started vomiting and feeling dizzy, after which all those patients were admitted to a private hospital. The complaint regarding this entire matter has been given in Sector 14 police station.
Food Safety Department official Ramesh Chauhan said that at 11 pm last night, a person named Hansraj Kasana, a resident of Rajiv Nagar, Gurugram, complained to him that he had bought buckwheat flour from Mateshwari store in Rajiv Nagar on the day of Shivratri and the buckwheat flour was sold to him. The entire family fell ill after eating flour pakodas, after which the entire family was admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram.
On this basis, today the Food Safety Department raided the Mateshwari store located in Rajiv Nagar. On the spot, he took sample of buckwheat flour and apart from this, samples of jaggery, sugar, honey etc. were also taken. Apart from this, the officials took samples of all the materials in which the officials found problem and sent them to the lab for testing. Further action will be taken only after the investigation report comes.
