Imphal. Earthquake tremors have been felt in Manipur. According to the information received by the National Seismology Centre, an earthquake of 4.6 magnitude occurred 38 km east of Imphal, the capital of Manipur. There is no news of any damage due to the low intensity of the earthquake. According to the information, the epicenter of the earthquake was Ukhrul in Manipur. Due to the earthquake, there was an atmosphere of panic among the people and they came out of their homes. There were earthquake tremors in Manipur a week ago also. On December 10, the earth shook in three states within 33 minutes. Earthquake tremors were felt in Maharashtra, Himachal and Manipur. However, its intensity on the Richter scale was estimated to be quite low. The intensity of the earthquake was estimated at 3.1.
