Dreaded Naxalite arrested, NIA took action

Raipur. Naxalism is being continuously hit in Chhattisgarh due to the activism of police and security forces as well as central agencies. The latest news is from Bastar and Bijapur. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) got a big success in Bastar when the dreaded Naxalite Bandra Tati, who killed 10 soldiers, was arrested. This incident took place on 23 April 2023, when Tati ambushed and exploded and killed the soldiers. This arrest has been made from Aranpur area.

Meanwhile, a joint team of Thana Basaguda, Cobra 210 and CRPF 168 had left for Rajpenta, Sarkeguda on an anti-Naxal operation. On the way to Rajpenta and Sarkeguda, 3-4 persons were trying to run away on seeing the police party on the roadside, which was surrounded and caught by the party engaged in road opening and security arrangements. On interrogation, they revealed their names as Nagesh Boddugula Masa Hemla, Sannu Oyam Lemam Chotu.

During the search of the naxalites, a cooker bomb, a tiffin bomb, cardex wire, electric wire, battery, medicines and Maoist literature were recovered from a bag kept nearby. A notice was issued to the naxalites regarding the transportation of the said banned explosive material and valid documents were sought, but they said that they did not have any documents.
