Dr. Purushottam Chandrakar honored by MP Sunil Soni on the occasion of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha

Raipur: Grand staging of Chhattisgarh’s Bhancha Ram, a dance drama written and directed by senior artist Rakesh Tiwari of Chhattisgarh, on the stage of Ramlala Mahotsav, on the occasion of the consecration of Shri Ram Temple in the temple complex located at Kaushalya Dham Chandkhuri in Raipur. At 11:00 am, Dugdhahari Math Temple Raipur. And it was done very beautifully at Kaushalya Dham Chandkhuri at 7:00 pm in which Culture Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal, MP Sunil Soni and Arang MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb ji were specially present.
In the program, senior folk artist of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Purushottam Chandrakar was honored with the palms of Raipur Lok Sabha MP Sunil Soni and Culture Minister Brijmohan Agarwal.

On this occasion, the concept, script, song and music of the dance drama “Chhattisgarh Ke Bhancha Ram” was conceptualized by the singer, director and senior artist and folk singer of Chhattisgarh, Rakesh Tiwari ji. The poetic dialogue has been done by Dr. Suresh Sharma. It may be noted that on the occasion of the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir, a grand dance drama “Chhattisgarh ke Bhancha Ram” was performed by the artists under the leadership of senior artist Rakesh Tiwari in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Culture Department, Uttar Pradesh, and South Central Region Cultural Center, Nagpur. Regular staging was done in Tulsi Udyan of Ayodhya city from 14 January to 17 January 2024, which was appreciated by lakhs of spectators.

On this occasion, Culture Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal, while addressing the Ramotsav, said that on the occasion of the death anniversary of Shri Ram Lala, there is an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm in the entire country. This is a proud moment for Chhattisgarh, the nephew of the state of Chhattisgarh, Shri Ram Lala. Pran Pratishtha took place in Ayodhya and the wait of 550 years is over. He said that everyone has to know about the life of Lord Shri Ram and should imbibe his character in their lives. It is by the grace of Lord Ram that today Shri Ram’s death is being celebrated in Ayodhya. The temple was built in Chhattisgarh, Ramlala’s maternal grandfather and I can proudly say that the only temple of Kaushalya Mata Ji in the country is in Kaushalya Dham Chandkhuri and it is a matter of good fortune for us. On this occasion, Culture Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal and MP Sunil Soni. Released a special postage stamp based on Mata Kaushalya. Said that Kaushalya Dham will be developed on the lines of Ayodhya, the idol of Shri Ram will be changed in Chandkhuri temple, Rajim Maghi Punni Mela will now again be called Rajim Kumbh Mela.
