Downloading question papers for all year exams: Guidelines issued

Tamil Nadu: The full-year, third-term cumulative assessment for grades 1 to 8 in school education is coming soon, so guidelines for registering question papers for the exam have been published.

A circular sent by the Director of Primary Education, P.A. Naresh, to all District Education Officers states: The schedule for conducting the full-year exams and third-term cumulative assessment in schools under the control of the School Education Department has already been published, and instructions for conducting the exams have been issued. To ensure that question papers for these exams are distributed and assessed in a timely manner to all primary schools, and that assessments are conducted by downloading question papers in secondary schools, these guidelines are being issued.

District Education Officers should copy the appropriate number of question papers for classes 1 to 5, based on student class, medium of instruction, and subject, and distribute them through Regional Education Officers. Question papers can be downloaded from the EMIS website until March 30th. Question papers should be distributed to all schools two days before the third semester summary assessment.

Question papers for classes 6 to 8 will be uploaded in advance through the State Evaluation Portal at ttllll://ngshhaml.ttlsreetrpll.njs.ny. They should be downloaded and evaluated following the guidelines. All middle schools should download the question papers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the day before the exam. In case of any issues, teachers should use the toll-free service 14417 to resolve them. The full-year examinations for students in grades 6 to 9 in government, government-aided, and private schools under the control of the School Education Department will be held from April 1 to 16. Similarly, exams for grades 4 and 5 will be held from April 6 to 16, and exams for students in grades 1, 2, and 3 will be held from April 8 to 16.
