Mahasamund. A case of murder of two people has come to light in Komakhan police station area of the district. One case is of village Boirdih, where an elderly woman was murdered by hitting her on the head and the other case is of Parsuli village, where an elderly woman who had gone to pick Mahua was strangulated to death. Her husband turned out to be the accused in the Boirdih elderly woman murder case. In the second case the accused has not been located. Police have registered the case and are investigating. The dead body found near the farm in Parsuli village has been recovered and its post-mortem has also been done.
According to the information received from the police, on April 11, her husband Parasram Yadav asked for money from Chhinbai Yadav (60), resident of Boirdih, for liquor. There was an altercation between the two regarding this matter, then a scuffle broke out. During this, Parasram beat him severely. The incident happened around 2:30 in the afternoon. Injured Chhinai Bai Yadav was admitted to Bagbahra hospital in 108 ambulance for treatment. Where he died in the evening. After this the hospital staff informed the police. Police reached the spot and prepared Panchnama and registered the crime of murder. In this case, the police reached Boirdih on Sunday and interrogated the family members of the deceased and recorded their statement.
During investigation, incident site inspection, dead body inspection, P.M. According to the report, witnesses and family members, it was found that the deceased died due to an unknown person snatching the deceased Chhinai Bai Yadav with a solid object and causing injuries on the forehead, near the eyes, near the ears and on the back of the head. A case was registered against the unknown accused in the police station. Section 302 IPC was registered in Komakhan and taken up for investigation. The police team took the suspected accused Parasram Yadav, husband of the deceased, into custody and interrogated him. When inquired about the incident, he started misleading the police team by giving vague answers. When the police team interrogated him and did not get a satisfactory answer, he was interrogated minutely and strictly and told that due to his wife Chhinai Yadav not giving money to drink alcohol when he asked for it, he was angry that his face, both eyes, ears, head and hands were beaten with wooden sticks. He was told to commit murder by beating and confessed to the crime.
