Jagdalpur. Once again in the Medical College Dimrapal, the doctors here gave a new life to a one and a half year old child by coming out of the mouth of death. The relatives thanked the doctors for the recovery of the child. It is to be noted that one and a half year old son of Rahul, who lives in Pinkoda, the innermost area of Bhairamgarh in Bijapur district, was taken to the Bijapur district hospital on the afternoon of June 8 due to sudden health deterioration, where the child had tremors during examination. On arrival, he was also suffering from malaria, anemia and difficulty in breathing, after which he was referred to Mekaj in the afternoon.
On the evening of June 8, the child was brought to Mekaj through an ambulance, looking at the poor condition of the child, he was examined, where he weighed 8 kg and had 2 grams of blood in his body. Without delay, the doctors put him on ventilator and on other tests, he also found symptoms of Japanese fever, while on examination of the other two children who came with the father, they also had Japanese fever along with malaria. Doctors kept Rahul in ventilator continuously for 48 hours, along with regular giving of life-saving medicines, the child came out of the ventilator within two days, which was removed from the ventilator on 10th June.
After 15 days of hard work, not only Rahul but also his two brothers were cured. Tears welled up in the father’s eyes after seeing all the three children healthy. On June 25, the father went to his home thanking Dr. Anugrah Sahu as well as Dr. DR Mandavi, Dr. Madhuradha Rathore, besides staff nurse, ward staff.
