Divya Agarwal: Brokerage fee not paid for sold flat

Recently, Merchant released a video statement and alleged that Divya and her husband Apurv Padgaonkar did not pay him the brokerage charges for the flat they sold. Although he did not reveal the amount he is yet to receive from the couple, the real estate consultant claimed that Divya and Apoorva did not pick up his calls and instead blocked him. He urged the couple to pay their dues as soon as possible.

Soon after Rafiq Merchant’s video surfaced online, several social media users criticised Divya and her businessman husband. “Shameful! These celebrities should be ashamed of doing this,” wrote one user. “Even if the so-called celebrity did not make good profits from buying and selling the said property, it has nothing to do with brokerage as it is a service and the fee should be paid regardless of the profit or loss,” said another.
