Dispute over coal lifting led to a fierce fight between two groups.

Korba. A dispute between two groups over coal lifting at the SECL Gevra mine complex escalated into a physical altercation. A video of the incident is going viral on social media. The incident occurred in the Dipka police station area.

According to reports, the dispute occurred between employees of KCPL and KK Enterprises. The dispute escalated to the point where both sides kicked and punched each other. Security personnel on the scene attempted to intervene, but the clashes were so intense that they too were involved in the scuffle. Employees say such incidents occur frequently at the mine. The management’s indifferent attitude is causing the situation to spiral out of control.

Previously, CCTV cameras were installed for surveillance within the mine complex, and any incidents of violence or negligence would result in strict action against the company involved, including blacklisting.

However, this system has now weakened, leading to a decline in discipline and fear of action among employees. The employees have warned that if strict action is not taken in time, a major incident may occur in the mine premises.
