Discussion took place between CM Sai and Manjhi on Mahanadi water dispute

Raipur/Bhubaneswar. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan. Mahanadi water dispute was the main topic of this courtesy meeting. Apart from this, many important issues related to both the states were discussed.
According to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Office, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi stressed on an amicable solution to the Mahanadi water dispute in the meeting. He said that Odisha and Chhattisgarh are neighboring states, which have many similarities in language and culture.
The Mahanadi water dispute should be resolved by mutual consent, so that the people of both the states are benefited. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai also supported the matter of finding a solution by mutual consent.
