THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister Suresh Gopi said he has high hopes for the BJP’s performance in the local body elections in Kerala. The MoS said that the BJP will achieve a historic victory in Thiruvananthapuram this time. The minister said this when he arrived at booth number three in Sasthamangalam to cast his vote with his family. The first phase of the local body elections has begun; voting is taking place today from Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam.
During elections, it is common for Suresh Gopi to arrive at the polling booth and cast his vote by 7 am. The only time he did not arrive at this usual time was during the assembly elections in Thrissur last year. ‘We will win Thiruvananthapuram this time.
