Janjgir-Champa. The brief details of the case are as follows that on 12.04.2024, Baloda police station received information from an informer that stolen diesel was stored illegally in a house near village Budgahan, Diharin, which was being planned to be sold. Raid action was conducted on the witnesses, 890 liters of diesel kept in different plastic drums/jerrycans was duly seized from the possession of Vinod Kumar Banerjee aged 35 years, resident of Budgahan police station Baloda and his two other associates Samin Khan aged 24 years and Abhimanyu Kurre. Age 36 years, Jumla diesel 2130 liters worth Rs 202350, kept in separate plastic drums/jirricans, kept in separate plastic drums/jerkins respectively, from the possession of Sakinan, Budgahan police station, Baloda, was seized by the police in front of witnesses on the suspicion of theft.
Accused of the case (01) Vinod Banerjee (02) Sameem Khan (03) Abhimanyu Kurre, all residents of Budgahan police station Baloda district Janjgir Champa, the above act is punishable under Section 41(1-4)/J.F. Due to the offense of 379 IPC, due action was taken against the accused under Section 41 (1) CrPC on 12.04.2024. In the above proceedings, Inspector Ashok Vaishnav, in-charge of police station Baloda, in-charge of cyber cell, sub-inspector. Paras Patel, asi Ramprasad Baghel, Pradhan R. Manoj Tigga Cyber Cell, R. Girish Kashyap, Rohit Kahra, Arjun Yadav, Chiranjeev, Sidar Singh Paikra Cyber Cell and Sauni Kaushal Sidar from Baloda police station, R. Dev Markam, Jairam Binjhwar had commendable contribution.
