The trailer of Bollywood legend Dharmendra’s last film ‘Ikkis’ has been released recently. The film ‘Ikkis’ is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who received the country’s highest military award, the Param Vir Chakra, at a young age. In this biopic, Agastya Nanda, grandson of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, will play the role of Arun Khetarpal. Late actor Dharmendra and Paatal Lok actor Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen in important roles. ‘Andhadhun’ fame director Sriram Raghavan is directing the film. This film was initially supposed to hit the screens in December but was postponed due to Avatar and Dhurandhar. However, now the makers are going to release the same film on January 1. On this occasion, the team has released a new trailer from the movie.

This trailer will show the real events of the Indo-Pak war of 1971 in a captivating way. The film commemorates the sacrifice of Arun Khetarpal, who showed incredible courage and sacrifice for the country at the age of just 21. It was because of that bravery and fighting spirit that he was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. In this film, Dharmendra plays the role of Brigadier M.L. Khetarpal, Arun Khetarpal’s father. Dharmendra’s performance as a father who is proud of being a soldier even though his son sacrificed his life for the country will be a highlight. His dialogue delivery and emotions in the trailer are tearful.
