Dharavi Redevelopment Project on Saturday said the slum redevelopment project was awarded to it through fair and open international bidding by the previous Congress-Shiv Sena (Maha Vikas Aghadi or MVA) government.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Adani Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRPPL) said all bidders were aware of the financial conditions including obligations and incentives.
It came on a day when Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena took out a road march from Dharavi to Adani’s office in Mumbai to protest against the Maharashtra government’s alleged support to the group.
