Dhamtari. The work of the new bus stand of Dhamtari city will start soon in Arjuni. Today, Collector Abinash Mishra along with Mayor Ramu Rohra inspected the site of the new bus stand to be built in Arjuni. Along with this, from early morning today, the Collector inspected various places in the city to speed up the development work in the city. During this, the auditorium, new bus stand, Nalanda campus, indoor stadium, proposed roads and other work sites were inspected. The Collector first inspected the auditorium under construction in the district. He saw the rooms built in the auditorium, electricity, water, toilets, parking and other arrangements. He said that a solid boundary should also be made between the shops built near the campus and the auditorium, so that there is no problem in future. Along with this, the Collector also directed the officials to prepare a proposal soon for beautification and sound system inside the auditorium. The new bus stand will be equipped with all the facilities, new roads will be built
Collector Mr. Mishra and Mayor Mr. Rohra inspected the site of the new bus stand to be built in Arjuni village to reduce the pressure of increasing traffic in the district and to expand the facilities. During this, the Collector instructed the officials to prepare the bus stand to be built in the district as per the pressure of increasing population in future. He said that it should have all the facilities that are available in a high-tech bus stand. The Collector said that 40 feet wide roads should be built. Along with this, attractive garden, night shelter, parking for vehicles, separate room for drivers to stay, electricity, toilet etc. should be arranged in front of the bus stand. He asked to make the bus stand access roads soon. Collector Mr. Mishra also instructed the officials to prepare and submit a proposal including divider for the roads reaching from the bus stand to the bypass. He also asked to remove the electricity poles installed in the bus stand area.
Indoor stadium will be built on the lines of stores complex, synthetic court, football hockey ground will be built
An indoor stadium will be built with the aim of providing facilities for all sports at one place. During the inspection, the collector directed the officials to improve the ground and develop an 8-layer synthetic court for players practicing running athletics, a ground for football and hockey players. Along with this, the officials were also instructed to construct a wooden court in the inner hall for indoor sports like table tennis, badminton, gym. He asked to prepare a proposal under Khelo India and submit it by April 15.
The main road widening was reviewed, instructions were given to remove encroachment
The roads being built from Sihawa Chowk to Koliari, Ratnabandh Chowk to Mujgahan and Ambedkar Chowk to Rudri, which have high traffic in the district, were also inspected. The collector directed the Public Works Department officials to submit the survey report and DPR of the roads soon. If there is any encroachment around the road, then the revenue officials were instructed to remove it as well. The collector inquired about the problems in road construction. He also inspected the Ramsagri pond and asked the officials to build MP theatre in the garden.
Nalanda library will be hi-tech
Today, Collector Mr. Mishra and Mayor Mr. Ramu Rohra inspected the proposed site for the preparation of competitive examinations for the youth of the district. The collector inquired from the officials about the construction of the library. The officials said that the kind of facilities that are available in the libraries of big cities, the district library will also have facilities on the same lines and a better environment for studies will be created in the district. After the construction of the library, students will not have to wander for books. The collector asked to prepare a DPR for the library and also instructed to keep a place for parking of vehicles below. The collector asked to build a food park in front of the library. During the inspection of the access road from Mujgahan to Hatkeshwar ward, the collector instructed the officials to prepare a proposal for the land and send it to the Water Resources Department. He instructed the Public Works Department officials to prepare a proposal for the construction of about one kilometer of road and submit it.
