Uttarakhand | Due to heavy rains in Kedarnath Dham, the enthusiasm of Kedar devotees is being seen even in the midst of difficult conditions. The administration in the Dham is repeatedly postponing the yatra in view of the safety of the devotees. But amidst the challenge of the weather and the restrictions of the administration, Baba’s devotees are moving forward fearlessly.
According to the alert of the Meteorological Department of rain in Uttarakhand till June 26, it is raining continuously. The process of rain is continuing in Kedarnath Dham also since Sunday. Due to heavy rains, the gads and gaderes around Kedarnath Dham are in spate. Water is coming with full speed at many places on the Kedarnath pedestrian route. In front of Gaurikund, about three kilometers on the pedestrian path, the rain drain came in spate, seeing which the administration stopped the walk ahead of Gaurikund.
But the pilgrims who had already proceeded on the yatra route took their places in the first safe places. And as soon as things got a little better, they kept moving forward. Even though the situation arising due to rain in Kedarnath is looking scary and the administration is taking all precautions. But it is clearly visible in the pictures from Kedarnath that how the devotees are moving on the yatra route even in the midst of bad weather.
Defying all apprehensions, devotees of Baba Kedar are going to visit Kedarnath Dham. So far, about 11 lakh devotees have visited Kedarnath Dham. Although the monsoon has started and the weather has changed, but still devotees are thronging to have darshan of Baba Kedar, which shows that faith is overpowering the challenge of nature.
