New Delhi | The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has taken a big decision which has given a big blow to the people of Delhi. DERC has given permission to increase the power purchase adjustment cost by 9.46 percent.
With this permission, now Delhiites will have to pay increased electricity bills. Whatever bill will come now, it will increase by about 10 percent.
‘Centre responsible for rising prices, those with zero bill will still have zero bill’
Talking to the media before the inauguration of Libaspur School in Delhi today, Education and Power Minister Atishi blamed the central government for the increase in electricity rates. He also made it clear that those whose bill used to come to zero, their bill would still come to zero.
