Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma gave detailed information about the decisions taken by the government in the Panchayat Department. He said that in the first cabinet meeting immediately after the formation of the government, it was decided to provide permanent houses to 18 lakh rural families. A total of 65,615 houses have been completed under the scheme and an amount of Rs 457 crore has been released.
An amount of Rs 711 crore has been released by the government to complete the houses under construction. Under the Pradhan Mantri Tribal Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan, registration of 26,357 special backward tribal group families has been done, approval has been given to 15,154 families and an amount of Rs 55 crore 41 lakh has been released to 13,254 families.
