Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw inaugurated the Atal Complex

Balodabazar. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw today inaugurated the Atal Complex built in Garden Chowk at the district headquarters Balodabazar. He also unveiled the statue of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Atal Bihari Vajpayee installed in the Atal Complex. Along with this, he also performed the Bhoomi Pujan of Nalanda Complex to be built at a cost of Rs 4 crore 36 lakh. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister announced to give Rs 5 crore for various development works in the Municipality Balodabazar. Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal, Municipal Council President Ashok Jain were also present in the program.

Addressing the program, Deputy Chief Minister Saw said that today is a historic day in which important works like inauguration of Atal Complex and Bhoomi Pujan of Nalanda Complex have been done. Our government is working to fulfill each and every guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since our government has been formed, various types of work are going on continuously. Making the cities of the state beautiful, well-organized and equipped is the priority of our government. He said that the work of laying a network of roads in the state has started and construction work is going on at a fast pace. He informed that Rs 2 crore has been sanctioned for the beautification of Ramsagar pond in Balodabazar and Rs 80 lakh for the beautification of Murum pond. He asked to prepare an action plan for the smooth running of vegetable market in Balodabazar.

Recalling the development works done in the country and state by Chhattisgarh state maker Bharat Ratna late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Saw said that the credit for all the development works done from city to village goes to Atal ji. Through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, roads were provided to every village and the path of development was opened. Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma said that Balodabazar district is still very backward and there is a need to accelerate the pace of development. Necessary steps will be taken to make Balodabazar town clean and beautiful. He said that the Nalanda campus will be a great facility for the candidates taking coaching for various competitive examinations. Now they will not have to go to other states for coaching. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal, former MLA Bhatapara Shivratan Sharma and Nagar Palika President Ashok Jain also addressed the program. During this, the keys of the houses were handed over to 5 beneficiaries who completed their houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and ration cards were given to 3 beneficiaries and pension acceptance letters were given to 3 beneficiaries.
