Mahasamund News. In the village Harnadadar of the district, farmer Baliram Thakur ended his life by drinking pesticide. After the death of the farmer, the family is saying that he committed suicide due to the pressure of the moneylender. Baliram Thakur (60 years), a resident of Harnadadar in Bagbahara block of Mahasamund district, consumed poison on Sunday.
The family took him to the Government Hospital Bagbahara, where seeing his condition critical, the doctors referred him to Mahasamund Medical College. Tribal Baliram Thakur died during treatment in the medical college, after which the hospital management handed over the body to the family after conducting the post-mortem. It was told that the deceased has a son and a daughter, who are married. The deceased has two and a half acres of agricultural land, on which he used to make a living by farming. The relatives of the deceased are now alleging that the deceased had taken a loan of Rs. 30,000 from a moneylender, which had increased to Rs. 50,000 including interest and the moneylender was pressuring him to repay the loan, due to which the deceased committed suicide.
