Quarterly examinations are about to start under the academic session 2024-25, but many schools still do not have enough teachers, due to which students are not getting the proper education which they should get. Announcements have been made in the assembly as well
During the assembly and Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s manifesto mentions recruitment of 57000 and 33000 teachers, but after the BJP government came to power in the state, the then education minister Brijmohan Agarwal had announced recruitment of teachers in the assembly as well, but till date no initiative is visible at the ground level. Due to this indifference of the government, the D.Ed. B.Ed. trained youth of the state are forced to stage a massive movement in the capital.
On 21 September, the Chief Minister’s residence will be surrounded
Under the banner of Chhattisgarh Trained D.Ed. B.Ed. Association, on 05 September, Teachers’ Day, a memorandum was submitted to the Collector in the name of the Chief Minister in every district of the state, in which a ten-day ultimatum was given to the government, but no initiative was taken by the government. Now on 21 September, the D.Ed. B.Ed. Association will surround the Chief Minister’s residence demanding teacher recruitment. Through a press release, Shravan Sahu called upon all the D.Ed.-B.Ed. trained people of the state to join the movement.
Hundreds of trained youth from the district will join the movement
D.Ed. B.Ed. trained youth from all over the state will join the state level movement where Deenbandhu Sahu District President, Kailash Sahu Vice President, Sukhdev Vice President, Pradeep Pathak Secretary, Dileshwar Verma Treasurer, Taran Sahu Coordinator, Dakwar Sahu, Hemraj Sahu, Santosh Anchal, Rajkumar Navagarh, Lokendra Kumar, Parmeshwar Patel, Jagrakhan Mandavi, Vedprakash Jaiswal, Nohar Sahu, Narendra Sahu, Chhotu Ram Sahu and hundreds of trained youth will reach the capital from Bemetara district.
