On which Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Chandrakar has assured to take appropriate initiative.
Today on Friday, officials of the Nursing Officers Association, Deepti Sinha, Madhuri Tandia, Pushpa Kanojia, Indira Dugga etc. reached the residence of the Parliamentary Secretary and met the Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Vinod Sevenlal Chandrakar. During this, he told that not a single staff nurse has been appointed on a regular post in Medical College Mahasamund. Therefore, 31 nursing sisters who have been promoted and 45 staff nurses of the district hospital are handling the arrangements for the medical college. He said that nursing sisters are being forcefully made to do additional tasks like additional MRD, data, computer operator against the post. Also being mentally tortured. Higher officials have been informed many times that there is a shortage of staff nurses. Despite this, no action has been taken so far. While the Director Medical Education and Health Secretary has given instructions to all the Joint Directors and Deans to recruit staff nurses at the collector rate as per the requirement at their level. The process of recruitment in Raipur, Raigarh and Bilaspur Medical Colleges is on final stages. Whereas only assurance is being given regarding the recruitment in Mahasamund. Due to which the nursing sister is being demoted and work is being taken from her. He demanded that the recruitment process of staff nurse in Mahasamund should be started soon. On which Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Chandrakar assured to take appropriate initiative in this direction.
